Doddinghurst scored with their 1st attack of the game through Alfie Cerulli, Kelvedon Hatch responded well but could find no way past Kai Chalkley and Tom Richards in Doddinghurst's defence. Doddinghurst then began to up the tempo and scored a 2nd through Frankie Day after a goal mouth scramble from a corner. The home then finished the half with a goal from William Stroud after great work by the outstanding Kai Gillbrook to lead 3 - 0 at half time. Doddinghurst started the 2nd half quickly with strong Alfie Baldry winning all midfield battles helping Doddinghurst increase their lead with goals from Alfie Cerulli and Oscar Pace. Kelvedon pushed hard to get back into the game forcing some great saves from the outstanding Ed Peace in the Doddinghurst goal well assisted by Max Citroen, but were unable to keep Doddinghurst at bay with Alfie Cerulli completing his hat trick and William Stroud finished off the scoring to record a 7 - 0 win and keep Doddinghurst unbeaten in the league.
