The nucleus of the team has been together since attending the Doddinghurst 'Soccer School' and we have gradually attracted in a number of players from the surrounding area. Most of the players have trained at academies and we are delighted that three players from the team have gone on to be 'contracted' players at West Ham and Charlton - but we have agreed to give them a trial should they ever wish to return :-).

The team won the Division One title at U10 and U11 and last year won the League Cup. In addition, last season we completed our fourth successive winning tour, winning the Devon Cup and also won a number of local tournaments.

We have established a reputation for being a strong side that plays 'passing' football with a real emphasis of 'trying our best' and having fun. To quote Vince Lombardi: "Winning isn't everything, but wanting to win is".

We look forward to the coming season and aim to improve individual and team performance and to carry on having fun.
